Here's how Unwrapped works

When a customer makes a purchase, they will receive a gift card with some information about their gift and the gift itself will benefit a person or family in the developing world. So wedding guests can purchase gifts from this website and they will receive a beautiful gift card and fridge magnet to give to the happy couple on their big day.

Setting up a wedding list:

Firstly, congratulations! Couples can set up a wedding list with us by calling the numbers at the top of the page. We'll send wedding list cards to you, which you can send out with your invitations. After the wedding, we'll send you a list of who bought what, (it's really important that guests quote the reference number so that we can monitor the total gifts) with a grand total of what your Oxfam Unwrapped Wedding has raised to help those living in poverty around the world. The list will come, of course, with our very special thanks.

Guests buying from a wedding list:

When making a purchase online, please make sure that you add the wedding reference number (hint: this is normally the 6 digit date of the wedding eg 240807) to the 'add a message' box in your basket so that we can keep track of how many items have been bought for the  happy  couple.

When you have purchased your gift, we can either post the gift card to you to give to the couple  on their big day or we can send it directly to the couple for you. If you wish us to send it directly to the couple, y ou can choose to have a printed message on your card, just fill in the 'add a message' box online or let us know by phone.

If you wish to make your purchase by phone, just call the numbers at the top of this page and quote  the reference number.
