This environmentally-friendly little stove is made from clay, water, mud…and donkey dung!
It’s hugely important to people who’ve had to flee
their homes with nothing and are living in emergency camps.

It's designed to be hotter than traditional cooking methods while using only half the wood, so fewer trees are cut down and less soil is eroded.
Also, women spend less time searching remote areas for firewood, where they might be attacked.

Oxfam also provides training in how to build these brilliantly simple and effective stoves for use in-camp and when people return to their villages.
